The Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám is a long lyric poem in quatrains (four-line stanzas) of iambic pentameter, with a rhyme scheme of AABA. A Persian ruba'i is a two-line stanza with two parts (or hemistechs) per line, hence the word "Rubáiyát" (derived from the Arabic root word for "four"), meaning "quatrains". The Rubaiyat is De Grendels flagship wine, first made in 2006 when cellar master Charles Hopkins was asked by Sir David Graaff to make an iconic wine for.
